Scan UPC barcodes from products like DVDs, books, and food to see a variety of information to make shopping easier whether you are at the store or at home.

THE HUB
The Hub is your central control panel for everything in the app to make it simple to access all of the features. Just click on the Scan Iris to launch the scanner. You can also go to Settings to launch the app directly in scanner mode.

Want to see what you scanned before? Go back to your past code scans any time, click view the content, or share what you found via Facebook, Twitter, or email.
LIVE FEED
View a Live Feed of real time scanning activity from ScanLife users around the world. This makes it really simple to discover new items that others are scanning. Click on products to view the information just as if you scanned it yourself!
PERSONALIZE YOUR SCANNER
Personalize your experience by choosing your own scanning theme from Classic to Fighter Jet. Available in Settings.
QR CARD - CREATE YOUR OWN QR CODES
Get your very own QR Code – or QRcard as we call it – that links to your contact details in seconds. Save and share the QR Code so people can scan it to easily get connected with you. You can also go to www.scanlife.com on your PC to create your own account to get more QR codes and edit any time. You can get even more features and analytics with a Business account.
SETTINGS
You can customize your ScanLife experience in a number of ways:
- Choose to display the URL of the codes you scan before viewing the actual content
- Launch the app directly to scanner mode
- Customize your scanner screen with a variety of themes
- Turn the sound to off
- NOTES ON PERMISSIONS -
We take your privacy seriously, so it is important to understand why we ask for certain permissions.
"INTERNET":
The app connects to the Internet to show content after you scan a barcode.
"ACCESS WIFI STATE and ACCESS NETWORK_STATE":
The app verifies if a network connection is available in order to connect to the Internet.
"CAMERA":
The app uses the camera to scan barcodes.
"ACCESS FINE LOCATION":
Location is used to give you more relevant information like local prices when available. You will be prompted before Location data is used.
